The name came from a shop that closed. It sold K-pop albums under a longer version of this word. The shop is gone. The sound stayed.
Boong is the whoosh of something taking off. Shaka is the 🤙 surfers throw when things are fine. Put together: ship it, then hang loose.
That is also how I run a company. Agents do the work. I do the vibes, and the approvals. Sometimes the rejections.
